At FishmanVision, we specialize in a very comprehensive and detailed “front-to-back of the eye” annual exam. The goal of the FishmanVision ocular wellness exam is diagnose ophthalmic disease that may be so early in its infancy that it is asymptomatic to the patient. Not only are we interested in ophthalmic disease, we are especially focused on detection of systemic disease such as diabetes, gut problems (ulcerative colitis and crohns), autoimmune conditions, and neurologic pathology (brain tumors, strokes, etc.) that can be identified during the eye exam. Dr. Fishman constantly reinvests in his practice to bring the most advanced diagnostics to achieve these goals.

As a physician & surgeon, Dr. Fishman offers the traditional comprehensive range of ophthalmology services including treatment and management of corneal and external diseases, glaucoma,  macular degeneration, and same day emergency visits.  With a strong research background as a Stanford-trained MD PhD, Dr. Fishman also provides informational research consults on emerging ocular therapies.
